Meet fashion’s l’enfant terrible when he makes his first ever trip to Texas to open the Dallas Museum of Art’s exhibition, “The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk.”

The comprehensive look at Gaultier’s work spanning 35 years opens November 13, 2011, and is comprised of 120 ensembles, sketches, photographs and videos. This is the first exhibition at the DMA devoted to fashion as an art medium, reflecting and shaping ideas and culture.
